Training FAQ

Your plan. Your call.

The structure stays useful because you can adjust the workout without losing the direction behind it.

01Can I use Long Road Fitness at home or in a commercial gym?

Yes. Your available equipment, gym type, schedule, experience, and session length are part of the information used to build your workout plan.

02Can I swap an exercise?

Yes. Replace an exercise across the active block or substitute it only for today's session. Session-only changes leave the original block intact.

03What happens if I miss a workout?

One missed day does not force a new plan. You can record a different kind of session, continue the block, and let repeated schedule patterns become useful coaching context.

04Can I add exercises or extra sets?

Yes. Add extra sets to a planned exercise or log an additional exercise during or after the workout. That work remains part of the saved session.

05Does the app change my plan without asking?

Important full-plan recommendations are presented for review. Some smaller schedule adjustments can be applied with a clear undo path, while permanent exercise changes remain under your direct control.

06Can I track timed exercises and cardio?

Yes. The workout logger supports weight and reps, reps only, duration, and duration-plus-reps exercises. Optional cardio finishers can also include timers and intervals.
